With aftercare, you are continuing your rehabilitation despite the fact that you are no longer residing in a household facility. You are, in essence, incorporating rehab with a reintegration into regular life. Once your aftercare program as full, you may still wish to access community-based services as a way of avoiding future regression. Partial hospitalization or day treatment is where you live at home yet you opt for therapy at a medical facility or facility at the very least 5 days a week. It can be an option to inpatient or household treatment or a step-down from one of those programs.
