Considering that its summary in 1831, three subspecies of the huge golden-crowned flying fox have been acknowledged, one of which is vanished. The vanished subspecies (A. jubatus lucifer) was formerly acknowledged as a full varieties, the Panay golden-crowned flying fox. Previously, this varieties was placed in the genus Pteropus; while it is no longer within the category, it has numerous physical resemblances to Pteropus megabats. It is among the biggest bat types in the world, evaluating as much as 1.4 kg (3.1 lb)-- just the Indian as well as fantastic flying fox can evaluate more.
